Playtex maternity bras and nursing innerwear offer underwire to women who cannot be at ease without it. Experts belonging to the conservative school of thought say that underwired bras are not suitable for expectant and nursing mothers as they could harm the breasts by causing blocked ducts. But Playtex maternity bras are known for their superior fit. They are also soft and comfortable and very affordable. The maternity line includes extra nursing soft cup and underwired nursing bras. Playtex maternity bras feature a flexible undercup fabric braiding which provides the right shape, support and absorbency to the bust. This bra offers a custom fit with a multiple setting so that it can be adjusted as and when the cup size changes.

Yet another style of the Playtex maternity bra is the Playtex Expectant Moments Nursing bra. This bra is extremely stylish with a low neckline. The cups are soft on the inside, while it has a pointelle fabric on the outer cups. The fabric used in this bra is a combination of polyester, cotton, nylon and spandex. Because of this, the bra has excellent properties like support, comfort, flexibility and ventilation. This bra has front flaps which can be pulled down easily with rear double hook and eye fastening.

Playtex maternity bras are seamless. They offer smooth contours beneath clothes which show a refined finish. Other features include expandable side panels, adjustable back hooks, underwired support and absorbent wicking fabrics. Before you purchase maternity bras by this brand, make sure you measure your bust size to get the right fit.

Calculate your band size – Place the tape around your ribcage under your breasts and note down this measurement. If it is an even number, add 4 inches to it. If it is an odd number, add 5 inches. This is the band size for your new maternity bra.

Determine your cup size – Now place the inch tape along the fullest part of your bust. The tape should run along your back on the same level. Note down this measurement too. If the measurement is in half numbers, round it up to the nearest whole number. This is the bust size. Subtract this number to the band size and you get the cup size. If the difference is 0 to 1” then the cup size is A, 2” is B cup, 3” is C cup and so on. If your band size is 34 and the difference is 3 inches, then your Playtex maternity bra size is 34 C.
